Travel grant from Statens Kunstfond / 18.04 2019
It is with great pride to announce, that in collaboration with Michael Stabell, we have just been awarded a travel grant from Statens Kunstfond, The Danish Arts Foundation. The grant allows us to travel to Peloponnese in Greece to study contemporary buildings that have been left or abandoned by the owners before completion. We will study the buildings’ potential for a new future and functionality and focus on the aesthetics of the modern ruin, as a contemporary reference of ancient Greece - both an image of wealth, greatness and fall.
