Ålandsgadekarréen / 2009

With Danish design studio Mencke&Vagnby I took part in the open Danish ideas competition in Copenhagen, where the aim was to design a new residential building in the neighborhood of Amager.

We suggested to design a building which was shaped like and arch by connecting the shape of the two neighbor buildings. By doing that we gave all flats good light conditions and in addition we established a square on the corner of one of the areas popular shopping streets.
